Imameddin Zenni was the slave of the son of Meliksah, who was the third Soltan of the Seljuk State. The Seljuk Atabegs in Azerbaijan came from the lineage of Mesud, who was the ruler of Iraq and came from the Gypjak Memluks. Anustegin, the great grandfather of the HarzemShahs was a servant at the palace of MelikShah.

Atabeg Tug educated the younger Seljuk princes. Soltan Tutus set Atabeg Tug free in return for his services. Atabeg Tug educated his own son Bori as well.

Atabeg Tug conquered Damascus. After this event, his dynasty started. After his death, he was replaced by his son Tajimülk Beg.
